about
We wrote this song near the end of our song-making period. Before recording the album for real we recorded two demos to hear what the songs sounded like and what needed to be changed or adjusted. Suicidal note went through most changes and from a mediocre song it became one of our favourite. Lyrics discuss the deterioration of a welfare state, its mechanisms and overall corruption of the ruling elites who should conduct their duties in the name of the people for the people, but instead they are solving their mistakes and working towards their financial benefits. Welfare state is falling apart due to the greed and carelessness of small groups of people who were given the mandate to rule by the people. But non-relenting corruption has finally started eroding people´s patience and faith in legal & welfare state...
lyrics
Last tendencies of governments trying to save the “holy grail” are not likely something more than just a suicidal note. Cutting down the last benefits that we have as citizens, with the intention to pay off “public” debts are ruining our last reason to believe in existence of modern states! When it comes to capital, governments are not exercising suvereignty in the name of people. They act more like distrainors on behalf of bourgeois elits, trying to solve their financial fiasco! Priorities are mixed up! Instead of peoples well-being we remedy the mistakes of untouchables!
